| NNJR PCA TECH DAY |
DeMan Motorsport hosted a Tech Session for the NNJR/PCA on a glorious saturday in July. Thank you to all those who turned out, some familiar faces, recognizable names and new ones too. It was great to see such a wide range of Porsche parked in front of the shop - with the odd Ferrari thrown in for good measure! Rick DeMan gave the group a guided tour of the Cup Cars inside and out and the significant differences between them, a very informative and well presented session. Lunch was served with Mike, Lucio and Abe cooking up a storm - when technicians and engine builders cook that well you know for sure that your car is in good hands! The afternoon concluded with a drawing for a free dyno session, Gregg Wielage was the lucky winner. His beautiful 2007 Cayman S was hooked up to the dyno machine by the crew and Rick put it through its paces. Craig Mahon actually won the prize, a DeMan Motorsport car detailing kit, for the closest horsepower guesstimate, though they assured me it was a very scientific calculation (nobody actually guessed it correctly....). It was a great day and we look forward to welcoming NNJR again in the future.
