Rick and his team turned my turkey of a car into a real contender. The car was a mess when I brought it to him. Rick spotted major issues with my car even has we rolled it out of my trailer. He fixed the engine which was down 70HP, fixed the brakes, set up the car perfectly, Cleaned up and replaced plumbing all over and made things beyond right. His team did an amazing job.
Rick really knows how to build a great car!! His calm expertise is impressive.
Patient with my interminable questions and taught me a lot as well..
Then it was up to me to learn to drive and really use what he had turned into a fantastic and very fast car. I couldn't believe how much of a difference he had made.
Also had the pleasure of great track support from Rick and his team. They ALL really know their stuff. Even knew the history of my car type - built 11 years ago and campaigned fiddled by many teams and shops - and the peculiarities of the type.
I can't thank Rick and his team enough for all that they did. Rick earned my respect and a very loyal and trusting customer from this experience.
When he says he is going to build a great car he isn't kidding.

The DeMan TEAM! I can't thank you enough. Rick and I spoke on the phone to discuss the winter work I wanted to get accomplished. I called 2 other shops for what they would do, and how much it would be...You all know the deal when you are upgrading something in your car. You get a quote and when it's done the quote is nothing to what your bill is. Not the case this time for me. This adventure for me was a pleasurable one. We discussed the tracks to be raced, and issues I wanted to I wanted to overcome. Then we revisited the gear selections , confirmed and The DeMan team went to work. Finishing the car in a timely manner. I was a bit concerned since I would not be driving the car for another 8 weeks. I got to the track this past weekend for a shakedown run. It all you said it would be !
I haven't had so much fun driving this car ...ever. This is the way Porsche should have had it leave the factory. This is the ONLY shop my cars will be brought to. I live in central NJ, and will continue to tow it up to your shop because it's the BEST!

Guys, I've gotta say that I still get comments like "that's the nicest looking 914-6 I've ever seen" whenever I ever bring the car to the track. You guys did a beautiful job turning my 1971 914 1.7L four into a 914-6 race car. Your attention to detail is renowned among the racing community. Thanks again. |

Hello Rick
First I would like to thank you, and every one else who worked on my 98 Boxster.
To date I have put 1400 miles since the swap. But only aggressively driving it for the last 200 miles. You may be wondering why I babied it for 1200 miles, well I have read on the 986 form, that after they had their swap done issues with Cel lights and engine mapping made the car hard to drive. Well I guess they didn't use Deman Motorsport! You guys did an awesome job. My car was delivered to me like it was brand new, and to date there have been no issues.
